Welcome to Viva Italia!
We are located in the Old Flour Mill building at the 'Top end of Town'.This historic building was built to house Queenslands first flour mill in 1901.
Now over 100 years later this grand building still stands at the top of Brisbane Street. Over time it has housed an array of businesses and is the place Viva Italia has called home for many years.
In 2015, Viva Italia was taken over by a new young owner who has been injecting life into the menu and decor. The owner and her team of young chefs are shaking things up and hoping to attract more young people and families to Viva Italia and take advantage of the growing food scene in Ipswich.
From the moment you step through the large wooden door at the bottom of the stairs it's hard to deny this old building it's charm. In summer the beautiful rooftop garden terrace is an outstanding place to try our wonderful Sunday breakfasts or afternoon tapas and in winter enjoy a glass of wine with an authentic Italian dinner by the crackling fire.
Viva Italia is a must stop when in the Ipswich CBD.
